MORE sewing! Today I started with two thrift store skirts, cut them up and sewed them into one new skirt.
Then I cut a WalMart flat sheet ($4.97!) into strips and sewed it all around the edge of the new skirt.
I used the lining from the black skirt and painted on yellow stripes.
The painted piece will be sewed to the front center of the skirt. It will have to wait till tomorrow though. Sewing + tired does not usually work out!
