Monday Morning Walk

I took the dog for a walk this morning.  As much of a walk as you can take a nine year old overweight (bassett) hound dog on!

I wanted to take pictures of the trees and their fall colors.

Cookie wanted to sniff every fence post.

She wanted to sniff every pile of leaves.  Every candy wrapper.

Half way home she just wanted to sit.

Once we got home she plopped down in the dirt and waited for me to quit taking pictures and go inside. 

We're finally home and she lays on her bed where she'll probably spend the rest of the day!
