Italy to Alamogordo - Part I

So, our 5 year vacation in Italy is over and we're off to America. Technically, we're already here, but I haven't had time to post until now. Our first stop was Baltimore, Maryland. We spent 4 nights there and had a GREAT time. We got to see friends from Italy that we hadn't seen in over a year. We spent an afternoon in downtown Baltimore, saw Washington DC and just had some time to hang out. We ate AMERICAN food! Donuts, hamburgers, salads, fudge, Ben & Jerry's ice cream and...cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory! Delicious!

Welcome to America. First stop - Dunkin Donuts.

Here I am waiting for the light rail to take us downtown...

Where we had seafood...

Took in the view...

And walked through a mall. A real, American mall.

We had a great time in Washington DC too.

Wow, this monument is TALL!

A little taste of fall in the middle of the city.

A peek at the Washington Monument.

From Baltimore, we headed to Cambridge, Ohio for a night. We drove through Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, then into Ohio.

In Ohio we had our first taste of American pizza. Domino's. One word: ICK.

Stay tuned for more...Next stop: Branson, Missouri.
