Bacon Bomb Explosion the other day.
It was Gooood!
Here's what we did -
We (me) flattened about 3 1/2 pounds of ground pork into a rectangle about 1 inch thick. We also cut up some peppers and onions and grated some cheddar cheese.
We sprinkled everything on the meat.
Rolled it into a "loaf".
We then wrapped the loaf in BACON!
Sprinkled on a pork rub (recipe from BBQ Pit Boys) and covered it in BBQ sauce.
Mike threw it on the grill where it stayed for about 4 hours.
It came off looking like this -
Here's what it looked like inside -
Mmm, gooood!
I'll leave you with the BBQ Pit Boys video/recipe in case you're interested in making this.

ReplyDeleteMmm, it looks really tasty! I love fixing stuff on the grill, but I tend to do things really simple - steaks, hotdogs, and hamburgers. I don't know, if I'd venture do anything this complex. lol Thanks for sharing the recipe.
