Peanut Butter Cups

I love peanut butter cups, so when I saw this recipe, I knew I had to try it.

PEANUT BUTTER CUPS - A recipe from grandma's collection

I actually wasn't sure exactly how many graham crackers to use, so I just kind of guessed.

I started out mixing everything in the blender hoping it might work like a food processor.  It did, but the graham cracker crumbs stayed at the bottom!  I put it all in a bowl and actually ended up mixing it with my hand.  FYI - a food processor would be a better choice if you have one!  Also, you should put ALL of it in your pan or you WILL feel the need to clean the bowl.  By clean the bowl, I mean EAT whatever is left in said bowl.

{I started with the peanut butter mixture in a 9x9 pan, but it was pretty thick so I moved it to this one...which is bigger, but I have no idea the actual size.}

I melted the chocolate chips in a glass bowl in the microwave.  Again, pour ALL of it over the peanut butter mixture or you will feel the need to lick the bowl clean!

These are good, but could almost use a bit more peanut butter.  I'm wondering why I don't remember EVER having these growing up.  Mom??

  6. Hey girl! I found your blog again! You have made me re-think about starting up my blog again. :) So...this recipe made me smile. I put this recipe into the Chicks cookbook! I got the recipe from a friend who said she remembers her grandma making this when she was little. Maybe it was a recipe back in the day and has been forgotten. That being said...I make this every Christmas, and it is always the biggest hit! Hope you are well! I have missed you! Jimi
