Jack-O-Lantern

We've never planted pumpkins before.  We planted sugar pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns.

{Sugar pumpkins in front.  Jack-O-Lanterns in back.}

It's been fun to watch them grow.  They're BIG plants!  :)  Here are two of the jack-o-lanterns.  I sure hope there are more hidden in there somewhere.

We're really going to have to rethink the layout of the garden next year.  It's been fun, but it's like a jungle out there.

  1. Pumpkins grow fast this time of year.

    I planted several types of perennials in my garden this year and it looks like a jungle of flowers...pretty, but jam-packed full. You never know how it'll turn out. It's fun to see things grow from seedlings or small plants into a thing of beauty or food you can eat. Great picture.

  3. Big plants producing big results - well done you, I'm sure if I tried, mine would only grow as big as an orange!
    Sorry for the late visit it's a tad busy at my place!
    Happy Sunday!

  4. I love growing pumpkins!

    It's hard to grow them here and have them be ready at the right time!

    Yours look so lush and just lovely.

    It will be fun to display and carve them.

    I'm really glad you're blooming so much where you're planted now!

    Thanks for linking to the letter J.

    A+
