Christmas in JULY?

Today is July 25th.  We decided earlier in the week that we would have a bit of a Christmas in July celebration today.

I stayed up late in to the night (well past my bedtime!) preparing cinnamon rolls for today's breakfast. (I usually save these for Christmas morning.)

I got the kitchen cleaned up, made the cream cheese frosting and had the rolls rising before I went to bed.  This morning I was up early and they were ready for the oven.  They turned out delicious!

Later this morning Taylor and I started baking.  We made Hello Dollies, Toll House Mud Bars and No Bake cookies.  We've had Christmas music playing all day.  Haley even put up some decorations in her room!  It's cloudy out and the high today is only supposed to be 70.  It's been the perfect day to hang out...and eat goodies!  :)

  5. Oh my yummm!!! I want to come over! Would you be willing to send your recipes to my email?
My grandma always made us home-made cinnamon rolls whenever we would be able to visit every summer (when my dad was in the Air Force), unless we were stationed overseas, then it would be between assignments, which was every two years.

    Blessings & Aloha!
Jumping for Joy! I am finally catching up to some of my "J" visits!
