edinburgh

In 2001 before moving from England back to the states, we visited Scotland for a few days.  Our favorite was a visit to Edinburgh Castle.

  1. I love Edinburgh Castle! I went to Edinburgh when I first moved to the UK 8 years ago and it had such a profound affect on me. I remember sitting in a park looking up at the Castle and being awestruck! I love how the castle seems to grow right out of the rocks. It's beautiful. I've been back to Edinburgh a couple of times since and the Castle never fails to amaze me. Thanks for posting the photos. :-)

    Merry Christmas!

  4. It's beautiful. Reminds me of a place we visited in Ireland; an old castle and church on a hill. A BIG hill, like this! {:-Deb

  6. Oh. How exquisite. I am attempting to paint a 'castle-like' sign and right now I'm thinking I shouldn't bother.
