Let Me In!

Our furniture arrived Tuesday.

I've been unpacking nonstop...

Until last night.  I wanted to load our hutch with all the dishes.  But I'm locked out!

We remember one of the packers at the other end saying, "I'm going to put the keys in *this* box".

Do you think we can remember WHICH box they're in?  Of course NOT!

Do you think he bothered to label such a box?!  Of course NOT!

I just want to load all my pretties into my hutch.  Is that too much to ask?

Please, Let me in!!!

Linking up to Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday.

  1. Oh my - having moved about 12 times I know what you are talking about. There are still things we cannot find or are missing or... Very annoying! I hope you find the keys soon.

  6. That's a bit frustrating, I'm sure. I know you'll find those keys eventually, but I know it's gotta be maddening for you all the same. It was nice meeting you via Alphabe-Thursday. Now following....~Cathy

  7. Ah! I hope you find it very quickly! We have had so many boxes from every move that we actually had sitting in our garage unopened, until this year, when my awesome hubby decided to go through all of them and organize them into "toss", Goodwill, keep for us (mainly my "treasures"), keep for Child #1, #2, #3 rubbermaids, etc... He definitely preferred to do this himself, since when I "helped", I didnt get rid of as much stuff as he would have!

While sorting through all that, he came across one of my Lladro figures that we had not "found" in the 8 years we have been here! It was in a box marked something random, so had not been opened. I have to admit that the thought came into my head of "hm...is it sitting in someone else's home?", after we first moved here and I kept looking and looking for it with no success... So when he found it, I was soooo happy and also felt bad for having thought that it might have been taken at some point between our last house, the storage facility and the moving company locations.

    Blessings & Aloha!

  11. Oh, when the house is filled with the boxes of your life, waiting to be set free in their new home, it must be quite annoying to wonder 'Where did that man put the keys??" I am hoping that by the time we all meet again next Thursday, you will be surrounding by your beautiful things and happily off on this new adventure!

  13. Have you tried a common screwdriver? Or a loop of coat hanger wire?

Your house is going to be gorgeous! Looking for keys can't be too much fun!

Thanks for sharing your poor lonely hutch with us.

I hope she gets lots of sparkly company soon!
