Yesterday was the first day of school for the kids here in Alamogordo, New Mexico. August 16. Doesn't that seem early??? It's too hot. It's supposed to feel a little like fall on the first day of school.
Joey was ready.
I think?!?!
Jenny was ready.
Along with Haley.
Hmmm...I don't know if Taylor was ready or not?
Yesterday was the first day of her SENIOR year!
I think she's ready for it.
Here's what the kids had to say after school...
Joey got off the bus and said, "She is nice so far." Meaning his teacher - He wasn't sure about her.
I asked Haley & Jenny how their day was and they both replied, "Aww, it was ok....It's really hot!"
I asked Taylor how her day was and just got an "eh". She was however able to get her schedule changed. Yay!
Mom said, "It's too stinking hot to stand outside for 20 minutes waiting for your kid to get off the bus!" She should've known they'd be late the first day...but 20 minutes?!
They all look great on their first day!

Gosh, AND they have jackets on! It's tank tops and skorts here baby...all the way. I'm glad it wasn't too awful for them!
